Working with Melanie and Kristen at McKinlay Rose Interiors has been an exceptional experience from start to finish. We have worked with them on multiple projects. They redesigned our entire first floor and furnished the main living spaces, and the result is a home that feels beautifully cohesive, thoughtfully designed, and still very comfortable to live in.
They are very easy to work with, have incredible design skills, and make the whole process of remodeling more manageable. Our home feels elevated, functional, and more beautiful than we could have imagined. We are extremely happy with the whole design of our home. We would recommend them to anyone looking for interior designers.

I recently had the pleasure of working with McKinlay Rose interior design team to transform my home, and the results have exceeded my expectations in every way. From the initial consultation to the final reveal, the experience was smooth, inspiring, and truly personalized.
The designers took the time to understand my style, needs, and budget, ensuring that each choice reflected my vision while adding their expert touch. They introduced beautiful color palettes, unique furniture pieces, and custom elements that have completely elevated my space. My livingroom now has a cohesive look that feels both functional and welcoming, with thoughtful touches I wouldn’t have thought of myself.
The attention to detail was outstanding; they considered everything from lighting to textures, and even found ways to incorporate some of my existing furniture and decor in fresh, creative ways. The project was completed on schedule, and they maintained clear communication throughout, keeping me informed and involved in key decisions without overwhelming me.
I wholeheartedly recommend McKinlay Rose to anyone looking to bring beauty and functionality into their home. They made the process enjoyable and stress-free, and the result is a space I love coming home to every day.

Kristen and Melanie are an amazing team! Every part of our bathroom renovation, flooring throughout the house and a few odds and ends were handled in a timely, professional way!

I have worked with Melanie over the years on three separate projects for my home. Her designs always exceed my expectations. Melanie has an eye for color that is genius! The colors she picked for the exterior of my home were so amazing that I had neighbors that I had never met before wanting to ring my doorbell to tell me how wonderful my house looked and wanting to know what colors I had used on my home. When I moved into my fixer upper she helped pick out the wall color, light fixtures, and accents to tie together the spaces. People always walk into my home and comment how gorgeous it is. I am absolutely in love with the master bathroom she designed. It is like no other bathroom I have ever seen and even better was she was able to work within the budget I had. Melanie is able to design spaces to suit your style, taste, and budget. Her work is original and timeless. People won’t walk in to your house and be able to put a time stamp on the last time you remodeled. She isn’t a designer that tries to impose her style on you. I can’t wait to work with her again to design my other two bathrooms!

Melanie Rose just finished my lake house and I could not be more pleased. This is the second time I’ve worked with her. She worked with me on my house in the Tampa area in 2016 when we did a total remodel. I thought then her work was excellent but she exceeded my expectations. My house in Tampa is more formal/traditional and I was looking for a more cottage, cozy feel for my lake house. When she was done I was like wow! I have the best of both worlds. You tell her what you want and she will design it.

Melanie and Kristen listened to our needs and were very skilled in helping us see a vision for our remodeled home. With only the architecture plans and dimensions, they provided direction and presented furniture, lighting, accessories and a layout that is gorgeous and functional. We will be using them for the next phase of remodeling.
